an intimate rustic garden wedding in hong kong

my first shoot at the Gold Coast Yacht & Country Club turned out to be one of the most beautiful and memorable weddings in hong kong that i have either shot or witnessed... it was beautiful, simple, and intimate... the sort of wedding that touches every guests' heart, the sort of weddings that every one of the guests get to have a deep and touching conversation with the newly wed, the sort of weddings that I love shooting most as always an abundance of smiles, hugs, happy tears that i love capturing...

a big shout out to the gorgeous floral decoration by Angela’s Floral & Wedding Design and bridal makeup by Luscious Wedding!

last and definitely not least... to the beautiful and kindhearted couple... Rosanna & Leonard!

thankful!

an intimate grand hyatt pool house wedding

I always have a soft spot for simple intimate weddings because they always have an abundance of natural smiles, tears, and human touches that I absolutely love capturing!  This is why I particularly love shooting at The Pool House in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong because its size and setting is perfect for intimate weddings with plenty of natural light!

When I first met with Carmen and Callum and they told me that they will have their wedding ceremony at the Island ECC church and the dinner reception at The Pool House, I knew immediately that it was going to be a beautiful shoot... it turned out to be one of my favourite shoots in 2016!  Thankful!

props for engagement shoots

I always encourage my clients to prepare some simple props for their engagement shoots, not only does it help to steer their attention away from my camera, the props are also a fun element within the frames.

Props ideas range from something simple like books, flowers in a basket, a small bouquet, to something a little larger like a bike, a picnic set, or even your puppy! You can even have something customized for you by Simply Peachy, who handcrafts these chic and adorable props that melts your heart instantly, attached below the brochure for your easy reference...

Looking forward to having you in my next engagement shoot!
