A new oil painting texture technique.
The composition was inspired by a Brazilian wedding photographer called Renato dPaula. The colour tone was a beautiful accident created from a photoshop demonstration to a good friend of mine, I name this curve preset after this friend :) I also love the little pink heart on the top left corner of the photo.
I haven't taken anything this simple yet comfortable for a long long time... Too long actually... I have been pushing myself a bit too hard lately with the creativity. It is time for a little breathing room, I nearly forgot how much I enjoyed photography.
Many photos touch my heart, but this one is exceptionally emotional... I had tears in my eyes by the time I finished editing this photo.

I have always loved these style of photos with a lightly washed, warm, and soft finish that resembles old memories. Tonight, I came across this TOKYO DIARY from the Logon Store, it is filled with Tokyo snapshots all with this washed tone.... needless to say I bought the diary, and experimented the style in photoshop with some old photos.... what do you think?
A crossover between Kiu Tsui Island on a sunny afternoon and a great iPhone App called PictureShow. Love the result! (PictureShow can be downloaded for only 1USD from iTune App Store)
On a tired Friday night, I peeped into my past... I found myself in Causeway Bay some 4-5 years ago with my wife at a cat cafe called 阿貓地灘。
Fell in love with the photo at my first sight when I was going through my old photos, then I spent 3 hours in photoshop with it... the faded colour, the vignette, the dissolved edges, I feel like I am peeping into my past... I love it!
The view from my bedside window after I rested my glasses on my bedside table for an early night sleep.
