For those who know me, I have a soft spot for airy rustic intimate weddings, and this wedding that I recently shot at the Peninsula Garden Suite easily made it to my 2017 favourites list thanks to the beautiful floral arrangements and calligraphy.
my first shoot at the Gold Coast Yacht & Country Club turned out to be one of the most beautiful and memorable weddings in hong kong that i have either shot or witnessed... it was beautiful, simple, and intimate... the sort of wedding that touches every guests' heart, the sort of weddings that every one of the guests get to have a deep and touching conversation with the newly wed, the sort of weddings that I love shooting most as always an abundance of smiles, hugs, happy tears that i love capturing...
last and definitely not least... to the beautiful and kindhearted couple... Rosanna & Leonard!
I always have a soft spot for simple intimate weddings because they always have an abundance of natural smiles, tears, and human touches that I absolutely love capturing! This is why I particularly love shooting at The Pool House in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong because its size and setting is perfect for intimate weddings with plenty of natural light!
When I first met with Carmen and Callum and they told me that they will have their wedding ceremony at the Island ECC church and the dinner reception at The Pool House, I knew immediately that it was going to be a beautiful shoot... it turned out to be one of my favourite shoots in 2016! Thankful!
Thank you again to Shirley and KK for bringing me to the beautiful Amsterdam! It wasn't only my first shoot in the city, it was my first time to be in Netherland! What a beautiful city and an absolutely gorgeous wedding! Thankful!
It was a beautiful day in November and I was blessed with the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to shoot a traditional Thai wedding in Chiang Mai! Thank you to Sompor+John for their faith in my work and for bringing me to the beautiful land of Chiang Mai! Here are some sneakpeeks that I would like to share with you....
Hope you like the photos as much as I do! You can also browse my facebook page for more photos from this wedding.
This is one of those unexpected shots... I wanted the nice Rolls Royce in the composition for sure, and was hoping to capture some action off of the groomsmen then this is what I got after a couple of shots.

I am really honoured to be recognized by Signature Wedding Magazine as one of the Top 30 Asia Wedding Photographers.
Honestly if you ask me, I am nowhere near the top 30 in Asia, not even the top 100, cuz there are just so many great photographers out there with much greater experience and stunning photos. Still, I am really honored and humbled to be recognized by Signature Weddings and have this opportunity to have my name mentioned amongst other greats like CM Leung, The Galleria, Axioo etc..... I don't know what to say..... except thank you for all your faith in me, I will continue to give all my heart in what I love....

This photo is taken by one of the bridesmaids at Candy+Jo's wedding back in Sept. I can't "see" myself at work behind the lens, so Thank you so much Hsiaonini for this photo! I do "look" very cool :) I also love my new title too - 攝影大哥!
It was one of the most difficult shoots in 2011 as I had to handle all snapshots, standards, and group photos all by myself for the full day. Thankful for the very kind couple's and families' wonderful hospitality, I felt like a guest myself and really enjoyed the joy and love throughout the day. Also a big thank you to my partner Ivy for helping with the off-camrea flash in the evening, it worked marvelously!
I am both thrilled and blessed to have my 2nd award-winning wedding photo from the Artistic Guild of the WPJA (AG|WPJA)!
It was both the beautiful detail of the wedding dress and the simple action of the bride putting on her boots that led me to this beautiful photo! Big hands to the beautiful bride - Chui!
The Judges' Comment:
I like the head not showing and only seeing a bit of the hair. Toning and detail is nice.

A new oil painting texture technique.
The composition was inspired by a Brazilian wedding photographer called Renato dPaula. The colour tone was a beautiful accident created from a photoshop demonstration to a good friend of mine, I name this curve preset after this friend :) I also love the little pink heart on the top left corner of the photo.
