A Dark and Moody Slate: Contemporary Wedding at The Slate Event Space, Downtown Vancouver
The vision was set for a fantastic shoot when Kaeli told me their wedding would be at The Slate Event Space, and the core request was a dramatic backlit ceremony where the couple would appear only in silhouette. This kind of unconventional approach fuels my creativity, and it was inspirational to photograph Kaeli and Moiz's wedding in Downtown Vancouver. From the modern venue and Kaeli’s incredible gown to executing the backlighting during their vows, it stands out as the most memorable and inspirational shoot of 2025.
